What an ordeal it was yesterday! The broadband services to this part of Snowdonia are antediluvian: I had to resort to using a mobile hotspot (luke-warm spot?) in the attic. But all was well in the end...

Meanwhile, in Morocco, our intrepid heroes limped (one supposes) over the line at 1.14am and I hope are enjoying their rest day. I haven't heard a peep from them, which is a little surprising given that it is my birthday, but hey ho. [edited to add: I spoke too soon, Hector just used his one allocated email to wish me happy birthday and give me details about his race so far, which he will put in a blog post when he returns].

This is where they are right now

Thank you so much to those of you who found the link to Hector's Justgiving page in the Introduction section and gave a donation. He has now raised over £2,500 which is fantastic and so much appreciated.

Today is a rest day and tomorrow is a mere marathon, followed by a 10k on Saturday. And then it's the end!

Hi Rachel, on bus now heading out of desert. A bit cooked but otherwise we are fine. Best Paul and Hector

Great to follow the news of Hector and Paul's brilliant progress. They are doing amazingly well. We are watching their progress avidly at OMS and wish them all the best for the rest of the race. We are delighted they have reached their fundraising target and are very grateful for all your incredible efforts.
